What You’ll Do: Repair and maintenance of equipment with emphasis on HPLC, GC, LC, and MS Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of special equipment, systems, and controls. Operate test equipment. This includes multimeters, frequency generators, and counters, galvanometers, digital logic probes, and oscilloscopes. Troubleshoot, service or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work. Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment. If needed, start corrective action and documentation. What You’ll Need: OEM or 3rd party repair experience Major electronic or mechanical repair experience on a chromatography related system Proficiency with any of the following instrumentation/technology: Agilent/MassHunter/OpenLab, Sciex/MultiQuant, Shimadzu, Waters, Thermo 4 year degree in a related field; 5-7 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Must have appropriate license or certification where required by law. Ability to travel up to 80% overnight. The minimum salary for the Field Service Engineer position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary is $130,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Company vehicle will be provided.
