We are gathering input directly from experienced practitioners to improve how the work of elementary school teachers is described. About the role (SOC 25-2021.00 — Elementary School Teachers, Except Special Education) Teach academic and social skills to students at the elementary school level. What you'll do Complete a one-time online survey/interview about your day-to-day work as an elementary school teacher. It takes up to 30 minutes . There may be an optional follow-up survey, task, or short interview afterward, which would be paid separately. Who we're looking for (eligible applicants have) 4+ years teaching elementary school (excluding special education). Current work, or work within the last 12 months, in the role. Direct knowledge of lesson planning, instruction, and classroom management tasks. U.S.-based. Not eligible (common confounders) Kindergarten teachers (separate occupation, SOC 25-2012.00). Middle or secondary school teachers (SOC 25-2022.00, 25-2031.00). Preschool teachers (SOC 25-2011.00). Special education teachers at the elementary level (SOC 25-2056.00). Short-term or substitute teachers (SOC 25-3031.00). Teaching assistants and paraprofessionals (SOC 25-9042.00). Private tutors or homeschooling parents without classroom teaching employment.
