Staff Pharmacist

Responsibilities A Clinical Pharmacist contributes to AHF by expanding primary care functions of pharmacists such as providing individualized health promotion and disease prevention, including administration of vaccines, long-acting HIV treatments, diabetes monitoring, nicotine reduction programs, and other subject matters, in collaboration with other AHF providers. A Clinical Pharmacist enhances the reputation of AHF by providing valuable contributions to all locations by helping to bring "best practice" and collaborative ideas, and providing consistent application of processes, procedures and policy throughout the organization. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives, ensuring that the AHF core values and mission stay top of mind in all activities. The Clinical Pharmacist will work as part of a close-knit team to provide individualized health promotion and disease prevention, including administration of immunizations, diabetes and smoking cessation programs, as well as other subject-matter expertise programs developed by AHF, with appropriate collaborative drug therapy management authority. This includes prescriptive authority where legally and organizationally authorized such as PrEP and PEP therapies.
