ETRM Data Analyst

Data Analyst - Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM)
Location: Houston, TX - requiring onsite 2X/week
Contract: 6 months, potential to extend
Expectations:
- Someone with knowledge/experience in the Energy Trading commodities (oil, gas, or electricity business is the most ideal)
- Strong technical business acumen - familiarity or previous experience in data-focused projects
- Strong experience in data mappings (SQL)
- Strong experience with source to target transformations
- Ability to troubleshoot bugs that come in, identify if it's a data mapping issue (ex: when there isn't a bug, but the mapping is supposed to be in a different way, being able to update the data mapping and handoff to the developer)
- Handle enhancements and fixes for source to target transformations
- ETL background would be ideal (not looking for an Informatica background, but someone who is familiar with that process and understands source and transformation needed)
