Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Wire Cutter / Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced warehouse operation. This position is responsible for accurately fulfilling wire and cable cut orders while operating material handling equipment, sit-down forklifts, and wire reeling/coiling machinery .

The ideal candidate will have previous sit-down forklift experience , strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately measure, cut, stage, and prepare wire and cable orders for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately measure, cut, reel, and coil various types of wire and cable according to customer orders.
• Operate wire cutting, reeling, and coiling machinery safely and efficiently.
• Operate a sit-down forklift and other powered industrial equipment (PIT).
• Move, stage, organize, and store wire and cable throughout the warehouse.
• Verify measurements, quantities, and product information to ensure order accuracy.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations related to measurements, quantities, and order requirements.
• Maintain productivity while following all company safety and security procedures.
• Inspect materials and equipment for damage or safety concerns.
• Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties, including receiving, staging, picking, and material handling, as needed.

Requirements

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good time-management skills and ability to work efficiently throughout the shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
• Willingness to train on additional equipment, including stand-up reach trucks and wire cutting machinery .
• Ability to safely work in an active warehouse environment.
• Must be comfortable operating powered industrial equipment.
• Steel-toed boots are required.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
