Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control in Sedalia, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor and manage access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements. Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Document security‑related activities, incidents, policy violations, and maintenance concerns through clear and timely reports. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
