Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a variety of medical surgical patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a patient-centered approach
• Perform clinical assessments and apply critical thinking in patient care
• Manage and monitor patient progress utilizing specialized EPIC charting
• Participate actively in unit-based safety and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

• KS or Multistate nursing license with no restrictions
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year acute care medical/surgical experience
• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Vaccination compliance as per healthcare regulations
