Description:
• This position is for a Substance Use/Addiction Counselor focused on providing culturally competent counseling services in Stamford, CT.
• It is a full-time role with a schedule from Monday to Friday, offering flexibility for 10-hour shifts.
• The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency with generic technology tools.

Requirements:
• CT State licensure preferred as an LCSW, LADC, LPC, or LMFT.
• Required - LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A.
• CAC or Master's degree in a mental health-related field.
• Experience in treating substance use disorders and Medicated Assisted Treatment/Recovery.
• Understanding of a recovery-oriented and consumer-driven delivery system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with generic technology tools.

Qualifications:
• Experience providing evidence-based SUD services in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with trauma-sensitive therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to work well with colleagues in a collaborative environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
