Activities Assistant — Liliha Healthcare Center Overview Supports the Activities Director in planning, running, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for residents, per facility policy and each resident's care plan. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid CNA license/certification Key Responsibilities Help build and post the monthly large-print activity calendar (facility-wide and in each resident's room) Interview residents/families to learn activity preferences and involve them in program planning Escort residents to activities and lead scheduled programs supporting physical, social, and mental well-being Conduct one-on-one in-room visits for residents who benefit from them Document attendance and write descriptive progress notes on resident response to activities Monitor and report changes in resident mood, behavior, and engagement Coordinate offsite field trips/transportation and cross-department activity needs Support Resident/Family Council meetings and the department's QAPI/quality assurance efforts Desired Skills/Traits: Strong communication and judgment, composure under stress, organization, basic computer skills, CPR/first aid certification, tact with residents/families/staff, ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays, and physical ability to move, bend, lift, and assist in emergency evacuations.
