Learn more about the company at Internship Overview This Fall, Cresilon is looking to bring on interns from diverse fields to gain exposure to the industry. Technical and non‑technical internships are available, each focusing on a specific project. Candidates will be exposed to all aspects of the business regardless of placement. The internship is a 14‑week onsite program beginning on September 8, 2026 – December 11, 2026 . Compensation will be fixed at $30.00/hour for 40 hours/week . Part‑time opportunities are also available. The application period closes on August 21st, 2026 . Available Internship Categories Quality Assurance – Interns will assist in establishing the Quality Management System, maintain the central document control system, implement OSHA requirements, participate in inspections, and report non‑conformances. Opportunities for compensated travel to conferences and other industry related events exist. Quality Operations & Compliance – Support the department in maintaining and improving the QMS, gain exposure to ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 requirements, and assist in day‑to‑day compliance activities. Travel compensation is available. Quality Engineering (QE) – Assist with product‑realisation efforts, including design verification & validation, execute software validation activities, conduct quality risk assessments, and author risk documents. R&D Formulation – Assist with routine research and development on polymer formulation, physical and chemical characterisation of polymer materials, structure‑property performance in‑vivo, and process scale‑up. Journal writing and presentation of findings are required. R&D Process Development – Assist with process development, equipment installation and qualification, creation and revision of SOPs, fixture design, and process scale‑up. R&D Product Development – Assist with routine research and development on designing, testing, and improving delivery devices for Cresilon’s product line. Quality Control (Microbiology/Chemistry) – Verify conformance to in‑process specifications and propose and implement QC assays. Work with aseptic technique and interface with the manufacturing team. Data Engineering / Business Intelligence – Identify and consolidate new/existing data sources, merge redundant datasets, create and populate databases, design and automate data entry and data reporting functions, and build extensive data analytics dashboards for continuous monitoring of quality and manufacturing processes. Regulatory Affairs – Support Cresilon’s Regulatory Affairs team in advancing global compliance and market access. Focus on regulatory intelligence and global strategic research. Manufacturing Process Production – Qualify and onboard equipment, work with system implementation, process design, and fixture creation. Perform documentation within a QMS, scan and upload paperwork to a validated eQMS, and assist in production as required. Requirements By Category Research & Development Formulation Internship Background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or similar. Prior lab experience required. Graduate‑level coursework preferred. R&D Process Development/Engineering Internship Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar. Prior lab experience required. Industry experience preferred. R&D Product Development Internship Background in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar. Prior lab experience required. Graduate‑level coursework preferred. Manufacturing Internship Background in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering or similar. Graduate‑level coursework and/or industry experience preferred. Quality Assurance / Quality Operations & Compliance / Quality Engineering Internship Background in Chemistry, Biology, Quality Assurance, or similar. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, preferably Biomedical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Prior lab experience preferred. Quality Control Internship Background in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or similar. Prior lab experience required. Data Engineering / Business Intelligence Internship Background in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar. Knowledge of SQL, VBA, Power Query, and/or Python preferred. Knowledge of statistics preferred. Regulatory Affairs Internship Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s in Regulatory Affairs or related field (Medical Device coursework preferred). Strong theoretical foundation in regulatory principles and frameworks. Prior industry experience is a plus but not required. A strong passion for regulatory science and a high level of curiosity and eagerness to learn are essential.
