The Children’s Place in Kansas City is now hiring for the full-time position of Admissions Coordinator. The Children’s Place is seeking a dedicated Admissions Coordinator to screen, coordinate and process all inquiries and referrals for services throughout the agency. What You'll Do Listen to, gather and evaluate client histories, concerns and personal experiences to identify mental health needs and recommend appropriate services and resources. Respond to telephone, online and in-office requests for information regarding agency services and other community resources. Coordinate and co-facilitate program orientations and tours for children and families. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling or a related field. At least two years of experience providing support to children, families, and/or individuals in a social services, behavioral health, healthcare, or related human services setting.
