Responsibilities Drive strategic execution of complex, high‑impact programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable business outcomes. Lead cross‑functional teams, manage interdependencies across multiple projects, and mitigate risks to ensure successful program delivery. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and proactive solutions to drive operational excellence and innovation. Strategic Program Leadership: Define and execute multi‑project programs that align with business objectives, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and resources. Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with C‑level executives, business leaders, and key stakeholders to establish priorities, set expectations, and drive decision‑making. Cross‑Functional Coordination: Oversee and integrate efforts across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment between engineering, product, operations, and external vendors. Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; develop and implement mitigation strategies while driving agility in program execution. Financial Oversight: Own program budget, ensuring cost control, forecasting, and value optimization across all initiatives. Process Optimization & Governance: Establish scalable program management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Mentorship & Leadership: Guide, mentor, and develop project managers and teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance. Data‑Driven Decision‑Making: Leverage metrics, reporting, and analytics to track program health, measure impact, and drive informed decision‑making. Enterprise‑Wide SAP Program Delivery: Lead large‑scale SAP implementations and transformations, ensuring seamless integration across business units while optimizing technology investments. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field as well as several years of professional and management experience in (IT) project management. Experience: 10+ years of SAP program and project management experience, with a strong track record of delivering large‑scale, multi‑project initiatives. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, managing complex projects, influence senior executives, and drive organizational change. Experience managing enterprise‑wide SAP implementations or other complex technology‑driven transformation programs. Experience developing and executing program roadmaps, balancing long‑term vision with tactical execution. Ability to translate complex technical and business challenges into actionable strategies. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Expertise in program governance, risk management, and change management. Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies; certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Six Sigma are a plus. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana). Familiarity with ITIL or other relevant service management frameworks. Experience in budget planning and financial management for multi‑million‑dollar initiatives. Deep experience with SAP implementations (or other ERP systems), including deployment strategy, change management, and post‑go‑live support. Familiarity with emerging trends in digital transformation, cloud solutions, and enterprise IT landscapes. Ability to mentor and develop project managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Experience working in global, matrixed organizations with distributed teams. Strong stakeholder management, problem‑solving, decision‑making, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Industry‑specific experience in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of SAP functional and technical aspects and/or SAP certifications (SAP PP, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP FICO, or relevant SAP modules) is strongly preferred. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.
