Senior Interior Designer

Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO. This role is responsible for leading interior design projects from concept through completion, including client discovery, design development, presentations, and coordination with architects, contractors, and vendors. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, creating and reviewing construction drawings, selecting and specifying FF&E, and preparing detailed finish schedules and documentation. The Senior Interior Designer will manage multiple projects simultaneously, oversee junior team members, and ensure that designs align with client goals, budget, and schedule. This role also supports site visits, installation oversight, and collaboration with the wider Studio R team to maintain design standards and deliver exceptional project outcomes. Qualifications Strong interior design expertise with proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning skills. Solid understanding of Architecture and the integration of interiors with building systems. Ability to develop, read, and coordinate detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation. Demonstrated experience in FF&E selection, specification, and procurement. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and MS Office. Experience managing projects, budgets, and schedules, including coordination with contractors and consultants. Strong visual presentation, communication, and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly. Ability to mentor and guide junior designers and contribute positively to a collaborative, high-energy team culture. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and current interior design trends; multifamily, hospitality, or commercial project experience is highly beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
