What you’ll do Contact clients regarding delinquent unsecured loan accounts Negotiate payment options for early-stage collection accounts Use strong negotiation skills to bring delinquent accounts back to performing status Provide exceptional member experience Exercise discretion and independent judgment Process account change requests Handle inbound and outbound calls Qualifications Minimum of 1 year collections experience (strongly preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to stay organized while working on multiple tasks Excellent attendance throughout training Initial training conducted onsite in our Tempe office Required to work onsite one day per month Pay $19.50 per hour plus monthly bonus and shift differential available for closing shift (10a-7p) Shift Monday-Friday 6a-3p, 7a-4p, or 10a-7p Benefits Hybrid work opportunities 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental and vision with HSA and FSA options Competitive vacation and sick time off, and dedicated volunteer days Wellness support through Employee Assistance Program, Talkspace and fitness discounts Up to $5,250 paid back for eligible education expenses Pet care discounts for your furry family Financial support in times of hardship through the Achieve Care Fund Commitment to diversity and inclusion through six employee resource groups Work From Home / Hybrid We offer hybrid options in Phoenix, AZ metro market.
