As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas. Help protect restricted production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and administrative areas by observing access activity and reporting unusual or unauthorized entry attempts. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, perimeter areas, parking areas, and operational spaces, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
