Experience: Relevant mental health assessment and counseling experience

Hourly Pay Rate: $58.96

Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and interviews

Develop, implement, and adjust individual treatment plans for inmates

Document all clinical activities accurately in health records

Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information

Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively

Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions

Collaborate with facility staff to meet inmate mental health needs

Required:

• Valid license as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT
• Proven experience in mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention
• Ability to perform assessments and document accurately
• U.S. citizenship (for ICE clearance; expedited process available)
• Willingness to undergo background and credit checks

Preferred:

• Experience working within correctional or high-security health environments
• Knowledge of mental health initiatives related to inmate populations

This role involves providing clinical mental health services in a correctional facility setting. The Mental Health Coordinator will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention to support inmate well-being. You will work with a team committed to delivering quality mental health care in a secure, fast-paced environment.
