Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, 7:00 AM ? 7:00 PM
On-Call Duties: None

Job Responsibilities:

Make daily rounds on assigned patients (average 12?15 per physician)
Admit patients and manage rapid responses and codes
Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available
Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using Paragon EMR
Coordinate with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality care
Participate in a hospitalist team managing 40?50 patients per day collectively

Facility Details:

Trauma Level: Non-trauma designated hospital
EMR in Use: Paragon
Support: Strong hospital infrastructure and 24/7 intensivist consultation

Certifications Required:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
Board Certification (or Board Eligible)

Licensing & Privileging:

Requires Active NY State License: Yes
Willing to License: No
Estimated Privileging Timeline: 30?60 days
