Advanced Practice Nurse - Cardiac CRNA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conducting preoperative assessments of patient status and ordering preoperative medication under supervision.
• Administering drugs to produce sedation or anesthesia.
• Inserting arterial and venous catheters.
• Monitoring patients during anesthesia until they regain consciousness.
• Frequently participating with the Code 88 team for resuscitation efforts.

Previous experience in cardiac anesthesia is highly preferred.

• Graduation from a CRNA program.
• Current NJ-RN license and AANA Council eligibility/certification.
• Minimum requirement of current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Maintain Continuing Education Units (CEU) status according to AANA Council on Re-Certification.
• Confirmation of credentials must be communicated to the hospital Credentials Committee.
• Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification, or a pending application as required.
