Experience the flexibility and impact of a short-term, part-time virtual opportunity supporting students across grade levels as an Occupational Therapist. This contract role is designed for a skilled OT ready to step into a dynamic school-based position, working remotely to conduct re-evaluations, lead PreK evaluations on Fridays, complete IEPs, and supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Key Qualifications:

• Active and current Occupational Therapy license issued by the state of Louisiana is required
• Prior experience delivering OT services within a school setting, ideally including virtual or teletherapy formats
• Familiarity with PreK and school-aged evaluations, as well as Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
• Supervisory experience with COTAs is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct re-evaluations for students across multiple grade levels to support ongoing educational plans
• Perform PreK assessments every Friday, contributing valuable input to determine student needs
• Dedicate at least one day per week to completing IEP documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Provide supervision to a COTA during the contract period and potentially ongoing, after primary contract conclusion
• Maintain clear records, uphold student confidentiality, and deliver high-quality virtual care

This contract offers part-time hours and is anticipated to span one to two months, with the possibility of extended COTA supervision afterward on a consultative basis.
