SNAP Retailer Undercover Investigator

Overview The SNAP Retailer Undercover Investigator will be responsible for monitoring and documenting assigned retailer activities to include customer transactions using EBT/SNAP benefits. Additional tasks include visiting the retailer and making undercover purchases using EBT/SNAP benefits. The investigator will be responsible for securing evidence and maintaining chain of custody until transfer to designated project personnel. Results will be meticulously documented and uploaded into a designated technical platform for review. Additional duties include supporting USDA enforcement activities. Responsibilities Visit assigned retailers and observe customer activity to include transactions using EBT/SNAP benefits Capture and upload data regarding any potential violations with EBT/SNAP benefits Perform undercover purchases using EBT/SNAP benefits Secure evidence and follow strict chain of custody requirements Support client enforcement activities Required Qualifications Active Private Investigator License US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States Reliable Transportation Access to Secure High-Speed Internet High School -OR- GED Equivalent Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years’ experience with private investigations or similar background Active Public Trust Tier 2 Background Clearance Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
