About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will have a clear path to future CFO-level leadership and will be instrumental in leading finance transformation, automation, and systems upgrades. This role involves direct partnership with ownership and executive leadership on strategic decisions, as well as taking ownership of a finance function that is poised for modernization and growth. The VP of Accounting will be responsible for leading an experienced accounting team, making a lasting organizational impact, and overseeing key financial activities such as reporting, month-end close, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting. Applicants for the VP of Accounting position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive healthcare finance and accounting leadership experience, with a proven track record in the healthcare industry, particularly in multi-entity financial operations and reporting. The role requires hands-on experience in leading accounting system implementations, upgrades, or ERP conversions, and a strong background in driving finance automation and process improvement initiatives. While a CPA is preferred, it is not required. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing and developing an accounting team, and will serve as a strategic business partner to ownership and leadership, providing meaningful financial analysis to support decision-making.
