Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Day Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency department seeing approximately 155 patients per day, including trauma, stroke, pediatric, and psychiatric cases
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio across a 28-bed unit with 4 fast track beds, 2 trauma bays, and hallway beds
• Operate within a self-scheduling environment based on seniority, with schedules made out at least 2 weeks in advance
• Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one to two days per month depending on call team assignment)
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including 24/7 hospitalist, intensivist, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy coverage
• Complete a proctored, pass/fail Dysrhythmia Test onsite on day one of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of California
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Experience in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency department setting is required
• Level II trauma experience or above required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR and GE telemetry systems
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
