The Director of Nursing Surgery joins a highly respected, nonprofit acute care hospital  delivering comprehensive services that include advanced trauma care, neonatal intensive care, cardiovascular programs, women’s services, and a modern birth center supporting families across the region. The organization recently expanded its footprint with the opening of a  new patient tower  designed to enhance privacy, comfort, and clinical efficiency while increasing overall capacity. The Director of Nursing Outpatient Surgical Services will support perioperative programs recognized nationally for clinical quality, patient safety, and surgical outcomes across orthopedic, spine, bariatric, robotic, and cardiac specialties. Director RN Perioperative Services will oversee operations within a 300+ bed hospital featuring 10 advanced operating rooms and a robust surgical services platform. The Director of Nursing Surgery will provide leadership across  Main OR, Pre-Op, PACU, GI, and Sterile Processing  while supporting diverse specialties such as trauma, vascular, orthopedics, urology, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and general surgery. As Director of Nursing Outpatient Surgical Services, responsibilities include optimizing workflow, maintaining regulatory readiness, advancing quality initiatives, and ensuring evidence-based perioperative practices. This Director RN Perioperative Services will play a strategic role in program growth, physician partnership, and technology integration within a fast-paced surgical environment.

The Director of Nursing Surgery reports to the Senior RN Director Perioperative Services  and collaborates closely with nurse managers, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to drive operational and clinical excellence. The Director RN Perioperative Services will oversee staffing strategy, fiscal performance, quality improvement, and leadership development while fostering a supportive and engaged nursing culture. Serving as a key advisor to medical staff and hospital administration, the Director of Nursing Inpatient and Outpatient Surgical Services will guide strategic initiatives that enhance patient experience and surgical outcomes.
