Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour (DOE)

Location: Concord, NC (Shop Position – No Field Work)

A growing local manufacturing company in the Concord, NC area is seeking an experienced Stick Welder/Fabricator to join our shop team. If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy building custom metal products in a clean, professional shop environment, we’d like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Perform Stick (SMAW) welding on carbon steel components
Cut, grind, fit, and prepare metal for fabrication
Build and assemble handrails, railings, frames, brackets, and other fabricated metal products
Read and interpret basic shop drawings and blueprints
Safely operate fabrication equipment and hand tools
Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications

Previous Stick (SMAW) welding experience required
Experience cutting and grinding metal
Fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints
Experience building handrails or structural metal components is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Dependable with a positive work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
