TIG Welder - First Shift - Full Time

Shift: 1st Shift (In-House Fabrication Facility)
Position Overview Randstad has partnered with a premier custom signage and architectural metal manufacturer in Concord, NC to recruit a skilled Aluminum Welder & Custom Fabricator.
If you take pride in precision craftsmanship and want to build structural and aesthetic products that define commercial landscapes across the region, this direct-hire opportunity offers long-term stability, excellent benefits, and consistent overtime opportunities in a modern, fast-paced fabrication environment. Experience: 3+ years of dedicated aluminum welding and custom metal fabrication experience.
Welding Proficiency: strong MIG aluminum welding skills required (TIG welding experience is a significant plus).
Hands-on experience operating industrial fabrication machinery (press brake, shear, grinders, saws, drills).
Craftsmanship: High attention to detail with an eye for cosmetic finishing and structural quality.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in custom sign manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or architectural metalwork is strongly preferred.

shift: Precision Welding: Perform high-quality MIG aluminum welding on custom sign cabinets, structural frames, raceways, and architectural components.
Custom Fabrication: Cut, bend, drill, and shape aluminum stock using shop machinery including press brakes, shears, and band saws.
Finishing & Quality Control: Grind, dress, and finish welds to meet both structural integrity standards and high-end cosmetic specifications.
Assembly: Assemble components, channel letters, and internal structures prior to final finishing.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace while collaborating with production team members to hit targeted project deadlines.
