Position Description

PCM Services is a growing commercial contractor serving the DC/Baltimore Metro area across landscaping, snow, paving, waterproofing and restoration. We're looking for a Landscape Account Manager who leads with proactive service, treats quality as non-negotiable, and genuinely enjoys building long-term client relationships. This role owns a portfolio of commercial properties, grows it through consultative selling, and works hand-in-hand with our operations and sales teams to make sure every site reflects well on the client and on PCM.

We built this role for someone who wants more than a territory to manage - you'll have a clear path to grow within the business, real ownership over your accounts, and a team that has your back when it's time to solve a problem for a client. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial and property management clients, building relationships built on trust and responsiveness.
• Anticipate client needs and get ahead of issues - proactively walk sites monthly, flagging concerns, and proposing solutions before a client has to ask.
• Hold PCM's work on every site to a high-quality standard, partnering closely with operations and crews to make sure delivery matches what was promised.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities to expand PCM's services across a client's property portfolio.
• Identify site needs and help customers develop solutions. You'll have access to a broad suite of experts to help you build solutions for the customer ranging from asphalt to electrical (no more relying on sub-contractors to help you serve your customers).
• Build and execute account plans that align with PCM's broader sales strategy and growth goals.
• Collaborate closely with the Account Management, Estimating, and Operations teams so proposals, scheduling, and execution stay connected.
• Represent PCM at industry and networking events to build the company's presence in the DMV market.
• Meet or exceed established sales and retention goals.

Position Requirements

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of successful sales or account management experience; landscape industry or property management/commercial real estate experience strongly preferred.
• A genuine customer-service mindset - you follow through, follow up, and take pride in getting ahead of problems rather than reacting to them.
• A collaborative style - you work well across teams and see account success as a shared outcome, not a solo effort.
• A high-level of personal accountability - you know what you need to do and you execute without someone looking over your shoulder.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; comparable work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with and a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with property managers, owners, and internal teams alike.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving ability, and the organization to manage a multi-site portfolio.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
