Senior Accounting Associate, Foundation & Nonprofit.
Our client is a global multi-strategy asset management firm ($20B+ AUM ). The firm invests across multiple strategies and have a sector-aligned platform built on fundamental bottom-up research alongside macro investments and insights. Beyond its Systematic Investing business, which deploys automated, multi-asset trading strategies across time horizons, the firm extends into venture capital, applied-AI-driven private equity, and direct private equity, growth equity, structured securities, and real estate investments through its broader investment platforms.

What you'll do:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of private foundations and corporate community programs, including financial reporting, audit coordination, tax support, and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple private foundations, including preparation and posting of accruals and journal entries
- Oversee fundraising and donation receivables, including tracking, recording, and reconciling related activity
- Perform monthly financial reviews and reporting to validate the integrity of financial information and proper coding across entities
What's required:
- Bachelor's degree in xhyhwjd accounting, finance, or a related field, plus a master's in accounting and/or CPA licensure
- 5+ years of nonprofit or private foundation accounting experience
- Experience supporting external audits and preparing tax filings, including Form 990-PF, Form 990-T, and related state filings
- Experience with general ledger and accounting systems, including Workday Financial Management
Location: Stamford or NYC Hybrid Schedule.
