Human Resources Generalist

Columbia Child Development Program, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the day-to-day HR operations of our agency. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation processes Maintain personnel records and HR systems including Paylocity Track employee clearances, trainings, evaluations, and compliance deadlines Monitor and follow up on required documentation and recurring HR processes Support benefits enrollment and employment-related paperwork Assist supervisors with employee documentation and personnel processes including departures Prepare required HR reports and maintain confidential records Help ensure HR processes remain organized, accurate, and on schedule Unemployment, FMLA, and Workers' Compensation Prepare required HR reports and maintain compliance with agency, state, federal, and Head Start requirements. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is: Highly organized and detail-oriented Dependable with strong follow-through Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines Proactive in resolving incomplete or missing information Skilled at maintaining accurate records and organized systems Professional and confidential in handling sensitive information Able to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment Qualifications Preferred: Associate degree in Human Resources, or related field with at least two (2) years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field. Candidates with strong background in human resources or administration will be considered. Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Experience with HR systems, personnel processes, or compliance tracking preferred Paylocity experience is a plus Why Join CCDP?
