Position Details Eligible for up to $15,000 sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance if hired. This is a full‑time night shift opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with breathing disorders. Administer respiratory therapies. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests. Monitor and manage mechanical ventilators for patients who require respiratory support. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes. Maintain accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation. Education & Credential Requirements Certificate required. Associate of Science preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred. Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required. Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist preferred. Background Check Positions designated as requiring a Level II Background Check will undergo screening as a condition of employment.
