Director of Case Management

I'm currently partnering with a large faith based, not for profit healthcare organization in the Texas market to find them a Director of Case Management. We have placed several people within this system and can tell you all about their culture, mission, and values. This is a 400+ bed, Magnet designated acute care hospital known for its cutting edge technology and commitment to excellent patient care. Reporting to the Senior Director of Case Management, this leader will partner closely with nursing, physicians, and executive leadership to improve patient throughput, length of stay, resource utilization, and quality outcomes. The organization has recently completed a multi-year initiative to standardize Case Management processes, metrics, and best practices across the system. This leader will step into a strong operational foundation while helping drive the next phase of the transformation. The role offers significant visibility and collaboration across hospital leadership. The ideal candidate will bring acute care Case Management leadership experience, a collaborative leadership style, and a passion for developing teams while driving operational excellence. Experienced Directors are preferred, though strong Managers from larger acute care hospitals will also be considered. This role is required to be on site. RN and LMSW backgrounds are both welcome. Compensation: Midpoint approximately $166K plus 14% annual incentive, excellent retirement benefits, and relocation assistance. Have to Haves RN or LMSW required, Bachelors Degree required, Masters preferred or must be actively enrolled in a Master’s program at the time of hire, with completion within two years. Eight years of Hospital/Acute Care Case Management experience required. Three years of leadership experience with direct reports in Hospital/Acute Care Case Management experience required. Experience driving patient throughput, length of stay, resource utilization, and quality outcomes Experience building partnerships with nursing, physicians, and executive leadership Must work in office, on site.
