Production Control Coordinator

Airbus Helicopters – Production Control Coordinator (Grand Prairie, TX) Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Production Control Coordinator to join our Production Planning & Operations team based in Grand Prairie, TX. This role will support DCR shops in expediting logistics and planning activities. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate Movement of Material (60%) Distribute new inbound parts from DFW warehouse to appropriate carts or totes. Return material to DFW warehouse. Transport assets to shipping area for outbound to DFW warehouse. Help enforce product designated areas: planning space, inbound/outbound shipping, kitting. Manage discrepancies with received parts from DFW warehouse. Manage incoming sub‑contracts/processing – return to stock or production. Manage outbound sub‑contracts / final preparation (boxing, sealing, transport to Shipping area). Coordinate Return to Customer of Completed Components (30%) Ensure outbound shipping is properly packaged per instructions. Complete required documentation for shipment of finished goods to end customer or AHI stocks. Execute all SAP transactions to complete part return to customer or AHI stocks. Maintain communication for invoicing and goods receipt. Maintain Inventories (10%) Maintain inventory of materials needed by shop (consumables, etc.). Ensure shelf life and first‑in‑first‑out policies are followed. Additional Responsibilities Provide additional support as needed (e.g., strain gauge shipment preparation, etc.). Required Qualifications High School education or equivalent. Minimum one (1) year related experience in material control. Domestic and international travel required. Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or otherwise). Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong customer service focus and attention to detail. Familiar with general office procedures and PC skills. Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English. Technical proficiency in Microsoft products. Preferred Qualifications Lean Practices knowledge. Aviation knowledge. SAP experience. Physical Requirements and Travel Onsite or remote: 95% onsite. Vision: able to see and read computer screens and documents. Hearing: able to participate in conversations and hear alarms. Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings. Equipment operation: operate office equipment and production tools. Carrying: carry up to 30 lbs. Lifting: lift up to 30 lbs on a daily basis; occasional heavier items. Pushing/Pulling: push and pull small office furniture and tools. Sitting: sit for long periods. Squatting/Kneeling: retrieve items from low shelves. Standing: stand frequently, including on production floor. Travel: travel to main facility and DFW warehouse. Walking: walk through office and production areas, including uneven surfaces. PPE: wear Safety Shoes, Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, Gloves as required. Steel‑toed shoes required for shop floor visits.
