RN - Cath Lab

Registered Nurse (RN): Cath Lab

This role involves providing high-quality patient care within the Cath Lab setting. Candidates are expected to perform a variety of clinical tasks, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patients and their families through their care journey.

Work Schedule:

• 4 ten-hour shifts per week

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage the plan of care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care actions accurately and timely.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transitions, discharges, referrals, and support for spiritual and psychosocial needs.
• Assess the learning needs of patients and families, providing education tailored to their age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Act as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within six months of hire.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) certification preferred.

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing specialty is preferred.
