The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

Pay Range:

$33.63 - $43.94

Position Overview

Minimum Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. NJ Paramedic license. National Registry accepted but requires state reciprocity submission within 45 days of hire.

Experience: Three years previous EMS experience or full time pre-hospital ALS service.

Other Credentials: AHA ACLS-Adv Cardiac Life Supp, AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, AHA PALS, Drivers License, ICS-100, ICS-200, NIMS, NIMS-700, NJ MICU Paramedic, PEPP ADV

Knowledge and Skills: Intermediate computer skills.

Special Training: Specialty courses. ICS 100, ICS 200, NIMS 700, and Hazmat Awareness. Ops, EMD/BCO, CEVO I, or equivalency.

Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Ability to multi-task, give and take direction, and work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills required. Excellent customer service skills required.
