A well-established and highly respected law firm is seeking a talented Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney to join its growing private client practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer matters.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in trusts and estates law, intellectual curiosity, strong analytical abilities, and a genuine interest in developing expertise in complex estate and tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sophisticated estate planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.
• Support planning strategies involving wealth transfer, estate tax, and gift tax considerations.
• Work with business owners and families on estate and succession planning matters.
• Assist with trust and estate administration.
• Conduct legal and tax-related research.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex estate planning strategies.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law.
• 3–5 years of Trusts & Estates experience.
• Experience working with high-net-worth clients is strongly preferred.
• Tax experience or a strong tax background is highly preferred.
• Experience advising business owners and families with significant assets is a plus.
• Strong drafting, analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Highly intelligent, curious, and motivated to learn complex legal and tax concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sophisticated matters.
