Accounting Manager

Job Details Accounting Manager – Direct Hire Location: Englewood, OH Salary: $85,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. 5-7 years of accounting and financial reporting experience. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Experience with Plex ERP is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and financial reporting skills. Responsibilities Drive the financial health of the organization by overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Work closely with company leadership to provide strategic financial insights, improve efficiencies, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial processes. What Success Looks Like Prepare and deliver accurate, timely monthly financial reports, communicating results and key insights to company leadership. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Provide strategic financial recommendations to support business objectives, growth initiatives, and operational decisions. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations. Oversee and coordinate all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, inventory accounting, payroll, and HR administration support. Monitor organizational financial performance and provide management with regular updates on financial status and key metrics. Assist with year-end financial reviews and audits conducted by the company's CPA firm. Prepare and submit reports required by regulatory agencies. Support the administration of employee benefit programs. Manage daily cash flow and cash management activities. Lead or participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed. Promote and support compliance with company safety and health policies.
