Role Description The Operations Manager role at Waffle House, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Richmond, VA. The Operations Manager oversees daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistent execution of company standards for food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. This role includes leading and developing Associates, managing staffing levels and schedules, and providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback. The Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring financial performance, including labor, inventory, and operating costs, and implementing action plans to improve results. Additional responsibilities include enforcing safety and food-handling procedures, supporting training initiatives, resolving guest concerns, and collaborating with leadership to drive operational excellence and support long-term growth. Qualifications Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, mentoring, and conflict resolution. Operational and organizational skills, such as shift management, scheduling, inventory control, and process improvement. Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build positive guest relationships and communicate clearly with diverse teams. Business acumen, including basic understanding of restaurant P&L, budgeting, and cost control. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and make sound decisions under pressure. Prior experience in restaurant or retail operations management is strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, hospitality, or a related field is a plus. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
