Division Chief - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Phoenix, Arizona

Position Summary Ambitious, collaborative Pediatric Physician Division Chief needed to lead the Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Phoenix Children’s, overseeing clinical, educational, research, and operational functions. Key Responsibilities Provide expert clinical care to pediatric patients with neuromuscular disorders, congenital conditions, and trauma. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and coordinate multidisciplinary care with pediatricians, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and therapists. Lead day‑to‑day management of the division: operations, resource allocation, quality improvement, and financial oversight. Recruit, mentor, and evaluate a team of physicians, therapists, nurses, and support staff. Design and deliver training programs for medical students, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals. Conduct and promote clinical research, publications, and presentations to advance pediatric rehabilitative science. Collaborate with internal and external partners, including other departments and community organizations, to enhance referral pathways and outreach. Establish and monitor quality metrics, implement evidence‑based protocols, and ensure patient‑centered safety. Qualifications MD or DO with board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, preferably including a subspecialty in Pediatric PM & R. Eligibility for medical licensure in the jurisdiction of practice. Proven clinical expertise in pediatric PM & R and a strong track record of patient outcomes. Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical or academic setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
