Senior Product OwnerWe are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of enterprise retail merchandising platforms that support planning, execution, and operational excellence across a large-scale retail environment. This role partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate strategic initiatives into scalable product solutions that improve merchandising operations and store execution.The ideal candidate has a strong background in Agile product ownership, backlog management, retail merchandising processes, and cross-functional collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and product roadmap.Partner with Product Managers to define product strategy, roadmap, and feature delivery.Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.Collaborate with engineering teams on solution design, integrations, and technical feasibility.Drive end-to-end product delivery from discovery through implementation and release.Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.Work across merchandising, store operations, pricing, planning, and technology teams to ensure successful product execution.Manage competing priorities while balancing business value, technical complexity, and delivery timelines.Identify dependencies, risks, and blockers while coordinating with cross-functional teams.Use data, customer feedback, and business metrics to continuously improve product performance.Partner with senior stakeholders to align product initiatives with organizational goals.Ensure solutions are scalable, measurable, and support consistent execution across retail operations.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Merchandising, or related field.5+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience.Experience within retail merchandising or closely related business domains.Experience with one or more of the following: Merchandise Planning & ForecastingAssortment PlanningCategory ManagementSpace PlanningStore Layout & DesignPricing & Price Label ManagementStore OperationsProven experience managing product backlogs and roadmap execution.Experience delivering enterprise software products in Agile environments.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.Ability to partner with engineering teams on technical design and data integration.Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Experience presenting to and collaborating with senior leadership.Preferred QualificationsCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or similar Agile certification.Experience supporting enterprise retail organizations with large store footprints.Knowledge of merchandising systems, retail operations, and store execution workflows.Experience with enterprise integrations and data-driven product development.
