Job Description
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit / Emergency Room

Schedule

Shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM

Assignment Details

Shared housing available at a cost. Must be able to work every other weekend.

Requirements

• Min 2 years of ICU and Emergency Room experience
• Current Licensure to practice in New York State
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Moderate Sedation, NIHSS certifications
• Recent experience in a healthcare facility's Emergency Department and critical care
• Cardiac Cath experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Collects and reports data relevant to patient conditions, including critical values.
• Assesses lab and diagnostic data, documenting findings of physical assessments.
• Develops and evaluates plans of care based on patient needs and outcomes.
• Advocates on behalf of patients and their families, performing interventions as needed.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and maintains professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Floats to various units including CCU and ED as required.
