Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of acute med/surg experience and will be comfortable managing patient loads of 4-6 patients at a time. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and assess patient needs.
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion, and central line maintenance.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Communicate clearly with all members of the care team regarding patient status and care plans.
• Participate in the education of patients and families regarding health conditions and management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• 1+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year; 2+ years preferred.
• Experience in orthopedic or neurosurgery is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment.
