Specimen Processing Automation Supervisor

Labcorp seeks a Laboratory Robotics Operator Supervisor to oversee specimen processing operations in Burlington, NC on a night shift (11:30pm–8:00am). The role involves supervising staff, managing laboratory workflows, ensuring quality standards, and driving process improvements in a high-volume diagnostic environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and directly train non-technical department personnel
• Monitor workflow, schedule coverage, and ensure adequate staffing across shifts
• Investigate production errors, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary
• Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain QA records and documentation
• Lead continuous process improvements and meet with direct reports for coaching

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing, or warehouse experience
• Experience with automated laboratory equipment
• Strong Microsoft Office and computer proficiency
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• High attention to detail with multitasking capability
