TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Waycross, Georgia, 31501!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Experience caring for general medical-surgical patients. Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. The traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. One or more years of consecutive working experience is acceptable. Unit Specifics include a total of 24 beds. Patient ratios are 1:6. Unit staffing includes a unit secretary on day shift and patient care technicians with a 1:8 or 1:12 ratio. Standard hospital equipment is utilized. The documentation system in use is Meditech Expanse. Scheduling requirements include working 2 weekends per month. There is a floating policy to other medical-surgical units or to provide care for medical-surgical holds in the emergency department, or to care for medical-surgical level patients in the intensive care or progressive care units. Patient experience requirements include bedside shift report and safety rounding. Certifications required are Basic Life Support (BLS). Dress code consists of navy blue uniforms. Unit guidelines and policies should be adhered to. Staff members have reported a caring and compassionate culture. Management is noted to be supportive.
