Registered Dental Hygienist

Definition The Dental Hygienist shares responsibility with the dentist for the major functions of developing and maintaining an oral disease control program (prevention), assembling diagnostic data, and performing dental prophylaxis. Instructs patients in techniques for improving oral health. Reports To Dentist / Dental Director and Clinic Administrator Qualifications Graduation from an American Dental Association (ADA) approved school of dental hygiene and licensed by the State of California. Preferably bilingual English/Spanish. Current CA driver's license. Appropriate insurance coverage acceptable to the NEVHC's insurance carrier.
