Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Operating Room unit supporting a regional hospital setting
Patient population includes GYN, general, urology, ENT, ortho, neuro spine, podiatry, vascular, and robotics cases
Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with start times of 0700, 0930, or 1000
No weekend or on-call requirements
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of previous CST experience required
Epic EMR experience required
State license required (if applicable)
BLS certification required
Driver's license or proof of permanent residency required for consideration
Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission date required
One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required

Additional Information

Contributes professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary surgical team
Supports a variety of surgical specialties including GYN, general, urology, ENT, ortho, neuro spine, podiatry, vascular, and robotics procedures
Candidates who have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months will not be considered
First-time travelers may be considered
Accepts local candidates in Madison with a rate reduction
Candidates outside Madison must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility
Holiday coverage requires working 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods
