Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Residential Crew Member for residential remodeling projects in and around the St Louis area. The carpenter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in residential remodeling.
Who we are: New Edge Construction is affiliated with one of the largest real estate investment firms in St Louis. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work including finish carpentry, tile, flooring, setting cabinets, and various other type of work within the residential remodeling industry
- Ensure all work is performed according to safety guidelines, company policies, and building codes.
- Work closely with onsite lead to ensure all project and task are completed to NEC standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in remodeling or construction
- Knowledge of all aspects of residential construction.
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Knowledge of residential building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure all work is completed correctly and efficiently.
- Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot issues on the job site.
- Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Travel to various residential job sites in St Louis and surrounding counties
- Physical work environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary 20-30 an hour
