Our Associate‑first culture means that cooks are responsible for preparing a variety of hot and cold food items such as salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers. Cook tasks include portioning, washing, peeling, slicing, and mixing vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients for entrees, appetizers, salads, and garnishes. They carve and slice meats, cheese, and create salad dressings, sauces, and other items following recipes. Valuing teamwork, family, and community is essential. Responsibilities Report to work on time as indicated on the schedule. Maintain uniform and personal hygiene. Prep all food to ensure that items are prepared according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, plate presentation, and quality standards. Display proper food safety techniques, including personal hygiene, hand washing, glove use, and knife skills. Know emergency procedures for the restaurant. Maintain the highest degree of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety for the work area including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving. Accomplish all job duties while adhering to safety guidelines. Immediately report any unsafe condition, act, accident, or injury.
