U.S. Marine Corps
Job Title Job Description You will establish a safe perimeter around a hazardous material incident to protect self and others. You will operate firefighting equipment (e.g., pumps, foam generators, boom, ground sweep nozzles) to control or eliminate fires. You will position firefighting vehicles in consideration of external factors (e.g., wind direction, sources of water, hazards from falling structures, location of armament on aircraft). You will administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillation (AED) for a patient. You will maneuver equipment (e.g., pumps, foam generators, boom and ground sweep nozzles) when combating fires. You will comply with health and safety rules and procedures while treating victims.
