Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 Night shifts, weekdays, every other weekend

Highlights:

• 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with medical-surgical overflow
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 providing quality, focused care
• 13-week assignment with possibility for extension; facility open to longer contracts
• Cerner EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not required
• 12-hour orientation with blocked scheduling available

Requirements:

• Active RN License (West Virginia or Compact state); pending license accepted for submission
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required; 1 year oncology or medical-surgical experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association); NIHSS certification required
• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy/biotherapy certification preferred; OCN preferred
• Proficient IV start skills required
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Must reside 100+ miles from facility location (candidates 75-100 miles may be considered case-by-case)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

• Up to two pre-approved time-off requests considered
• Facility expects excellent attendance; maximum 2-3 call-offs per contract
