Join Our Team as an Animal Care Attendant!

We’re Colorado Springs’ first and only aquarium - a groundbreaking attraction that combines hands-on interaction, and unforgettable guest experiences. Our small, dedicated team is expanding and we are looking for a committed Animal Care Attendants to join us on this exciting journey.

As an Animal Care Attendant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the health and well-being of the animals in our care. This is a seasonal, part-time position that requires attention to detail, a love for animals, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the daily care, feeding, and monitoring of a variety of species.
• Maintaining clean and safe habitats for all species.
• Observing animal behavior / maintaining animal welfare act standards of care.
• Facilitating guest interactions with animal ambassadors and ensuring the safety of both.
• Providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude and passion for wildlife.
  

We’re searching for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to make a difference. To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 1 year of experience working with animals preferred, whether in a professional or volunteer capacity.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to the unique challenges of aquarium environments.

This position is being offered as a seasonal, part time position. However, there are opportunities for the position to become a permanent, full time role based on performance.
