Demand Planner

Our client, a trusted supplier to the North American Automotive Parts Aftermarket is seeking a Demand Forecast Planning Manager. This critical leadership role drives the end-to-end forecasting process, oversees purchase order generation to maintain optimal inventory targets, and directly manages a team of five planners. Location: MARION, South Carolina Job Type: Permanent Salary: $110,000 - 120,000 per year Work Hours: 8am to 4pm Education: Bachelors Responsibilities Own the entire monthly demand forecasting cycle for a defined product portfolio Oversee the development of both short-term (1-3 month) and long-term (12-24 month) demand forecasts Lead and facilitate the customer scheduled CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecast and Replenishment) meetings Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including Forecast Accuracy and Order Fill Rates; directly manage a team of Demand Planners and one Sr. Demand Planner Oversee the team's process for converting the finalized demand plan into POs Qualifications 3-5 years of experience directly managing or leading a team of planners 5-7 years forecasting or demand planning experience Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems Proven expertise in statistical forecasting methodologies Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Skills Strategic Planning Planning Production Benefits Medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings; short-term disability; and a 401(k) plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
